PRIVACY POLICY NOTICE OF BLARNEY STONE FUNDING, INC.
At Blarney Stone Funding your privacy is important to us. That
is why we work hard to uphold your privacy. The information you provide
us is always kept in the strictest confidence. We have no intention of
selling your non-public personal information to any non-affiliated third
parties. We make this commitment to you with pride because your trust
is the foundation of our business. To protect your privacy we have developed
the following policies. We ask that you read this information carefully.
First we must define the terms. Definitions: We, our and us mean
Blarney Stone Funding. You and Your mean those consumers
who have provided us with non public personal information for the purpose
of determining whether he or she qualifies for a mortgage loan; and those
customers who have obtained real estate settlement services from us,
even if they are no longer our customers. Non public personal information
means personally identifiable financial information about you that we
collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to
you. This does not include information that is available from public
sources, such as government real estate records. Affiliate means a company
we own or control, a company that owns or controls us or a company that
is owned or controlled by the same company as us. Nonaffiliated third
party means a company that is not an affiliate of ours.
We collect non public personal information about you from the following
sources;
- Information that we receive from you on applications or other forms;
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others;
and
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.
Unless you tell us not to, we may disclose some or all of the non public
information that we collect about you, as described above, with our affiliated
companies and certain non-affiliated third parties. Such information
may include:
- Information that we obtain from your application, such as your name,
address, social security number, assets, income and/or your employment
history;
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others,
such as the parties to your transaction(s) and your payment history;
- Information that we obtain from a consumer report, such as your credit
score or history;
- Information that we obtain to verify representations made by you,
such as your bank balances; and
- Information we obtain from you regarding your employment or credit
history.
We may disclose non-public personal information about you to affiliated
and non-affiliated third parties necessary to process, underwrite, fund,
and service your loan, including, but not limited to the following:
- Investors who may purchase your loan in the secondary market;
- Institutions that may service your loan;
- Financial institutions that may fund your loan when Blarney Stone
Funding acts as a broker;
- Escrow and closing agents;
- Federal and State agencies pursuant to government lending programs.
We may also disclose non-public information about you to such affiliated
and nonaffiliated parties, as permitted or required by law, including
court orders and subpoenas. Among other permitted disclosures, the law
permits us to disclose to our affiliates information regarding our transactions
and experiences with you.
We restrict access to non public personal information about you to those
employees who need to know that information to provide the requested
products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural
safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your non public
personal information.
